As part of this years guest lecture team at LSAD I organised 2 lectures. One by the writer Robert Urquhart whose involvment in the Designers are Wankers book and website project inspired an idea for the poster. Barnsley-born designer Craig Oldham was more than happy to return for a second visit to Lincoln in March, for which myself and Marianne colloborated on a design for the poster.
For the tickets for Robert’s lecture I decided a good way to use a lot of the scrap paper in the studio would be to make a ‘Wanker?’ stamp to accompany the poster. I also had a little idea for tickets for the multi award-winning former Penguin book designer David Pearson’s visit to Lincoln in January.
